Jeanne L. Ballard MD, author of the New Ballard Score, is an associate professor
of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Cincinnati College
of Medicine.
Board certified in pediatrics and neonatal-perinatal medicine, Dr. Ballard has served
as director of Nurseries for Bethesda Hospitals and is attending physician for Children's
Hospital Medical Center and University Hospital of Cincinnati.
Dr. Ballard received her medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania.
She completed her residency in pediatrics at Children's Hospital Medical Center
in Cincinnati and her fellowship in neonatology at the University of Cincinnati
College of Medicine.
